Chief pilot and Chief flying instructor Peter Holstein formed Aerowasp Helicopter in 1992 and first started operations in Wollongong doing flight training, Airwork and charter operations. The company then moved to Camden airport in 2005 as it would be closer to the Sydney Area and take advantage of the central location and various types of Airspace for training students.

The company has given many pilots their private and commercial ratings and trained a large number of instructor pilots employed in many parts of the country. Currently Aerowasp Helicopters enjoys a 100% safety record spanning over a 15-year period of flying training and maintains this by providing a safe and professional environment for all its students and clients.
